Reporting Copyright Infringement

Submit the DMCA Takedown Notice

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA takedown notice, we will promptly investigate the claim and remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. We will also notify the user responsible for the content, who may then submit a counter-notice if they believe the material was wrongfully removed.
Counter-Notices and Restoration of Content
If a user believes that their content was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, they may submit a counter-notice. The counter-notice must include the following information:
- Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or access to it was disabled.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the user has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material.
- The user’s name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that the user consents to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which the address is located, or if the user’s address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that the user will accept service of process from the person who provided the DMCA notice or an agent of such person.
- The user’s physical or electronic signature.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will provide the original complainant with a copy of the counter-notice and inform them that we will replace the removed material or cease disabling access to it in 10 business days, unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the user.
Repeat Infringers
Orcus TV has the right to suspend or terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers of copyrights or other intellectual property rights.
